Our 2021-2022 Season of events has now ended. We will be back in September with a new season of meetings and events.

We shall continue to meet up with various events throughout the Summer, mostly on a Wednesday evening

My interest in photography was first sparked whilst working at the head office of a large electrical retailer with the camera buyers and suppliers. Over the years I have found out that it is easy to take photos, it is not so easy taking good photos! Joining the camera club has definitely helped me to improve and to think more before I press the shutter button'

New Members

We always welcome newcomers of all levels of experience, from beginner to professional, to come along and share in our activities.

Meeting times when in the hall are from around 7.15 for a 7.30 start, to around 9.45 pm each Wednesday evening during the season from September to May.
Pick an evening from the program that may be of particular interest to you for starters and just turn up. You will be made very welcome.
Don't worry about being descended upon in the first week for your subscription, you won't be pressured, and if you feel it's not for you, there's no obligation.
Please contact the club for the new Membership fees for the current season (September to May)
There is a £1 levy per attendance (£2 for non members) when we meet in the hall.

My Masterpiece

The GALLERY for the current season's "My Masterpiece" PDI competition is ......... The TATE MODERN

Date of Competition is: 20th April 2022
**Note: You must submit BOTH images in .JPG format: the Actual work of Art (copied from the Gallery website) PLUS your Interpretation of it.

*ENPRINT PANEL:

Date of Competition is: 5th January 2022

Medium:PRINTS

My-Garden-320

The Objective of this competition is to encourage photographers to achieve a panel of prints with a theme, without the expense of producing entries for a full blown panel competition.

Each entry should consist of between five and ten en-prints (maximum size 7" x 5", and they may be trade processed), mounted as a panel, on a board not exceeding 20" x 16"

All prints should not have been entered previously in this competition.

Each member may submit two entries.

The winning entrant will be awarded the Joe Hudson Trophy which will be presented at the AGM.
