New Members

We always welcome newcomers of all levels of experience, from beginner to professional, to come along and share in our activities.

Meeting times are from around 7.15 for a 7.30 start, to around 10 pm each Wednesday evening during the season from September to May.
Pick an evening from the program that may be of particular interest to you for starters and just turn up. You will be made very welcome.
Don't worry about being descended upon in the first week for your subscription, you won't be pressured, and if you feel it's not for you, there's no obligation.
Club evenings include tea/coffee and biscuits, and there's the usual fun raffle with an assortment of prizes to be won.
Please contact the club for the new Membership fees for the current season (September to May)
There is a £1 levy per attendance (£2 for non members) which includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
Find us at the Church of the Holy Angels in Lilliput.

Club News

Parkstone Camera Club Members do well in
Bournemouth Electric Camera Club Charity Exhibition

Big congratulations and well done to our members Mike Gardiner and Carl Jacolette. They both entered the Bournemouth Electric Camera Club Charity Exhibition in support of the Jon Egging Trust and did rather well with their prints. Mike came 3rd with “Jump” and Highly Commended with “Fierce”. Carl came 7th with “Kimmeridge Storm” and Highly Commended with “Shots and Stripes”.

This was no mean feat with a total of 147 prints entered, which took the judge Alan Cooke 2½ hours to deliberate over and decide his winners. Some great prizes were on offer and a good sum raised for the charity.

Well done Mike and Carl, a great achievement.

*ENPRINT PANEL:

Date held: 20th February 2018

Medium:PRINTS

My-Garden-320

The Objective of this competition is to encourage photographers to achieve a panel of prints with a theme, without the expense of producing entries for a full blown panel competition.

Each entry should consist of between five and ten en-prints (maximum size 7" x 5", and they may be trade processed), mounted as a panel, on a board not exceeding 20" x 16"

All prints should not have been entered previously in this competition.

Each member may submit two entries.
