This image by Doug Jesse was taken on 13th May 2008 on Upton Heath whilst on a
photo shoot with a few other club members. Time was around 19.30 and the sunset
colours were just a small section of the sky. "We hobbled together to about the
only point from which we could get a good vantage on the coloured part. Here luck was with us
and a single tree dominated the deeply shaded
undergrowth of the photo base".
Doug was Shooting with his newly acquired 5.9 Mpixel, 3 year old Fuji Finepix.
Exposure was āPā and ISO equivalent 100. The print is around half of the original
landscape image as a portrait slice and so well suited to magazine publishing
format.
