Print a record copy of Skylight 2000 - Summer 2008 edition
If you are a traditionalist or perhaps even a bit of an anorak, then you might
like to have your personal printed copy of Skylight 2000.
We have compiled the pages in this website into a PDF style document so you can
make a neat printed copy for your individual needs. Whether it's for keeping
proudly in your Parkstone Camera Club archive file, or folding into quarters to
wedge up that wonky old sideboard, it's your prerogative. The original will
always be here on this website for you to peruse.
To print your copy of Skylight 2000, you will need to download the file in
the next paragraph. To
display this file you will need the Acrobat Reader. This is a program in common
use, and may already be on your computer. If you don't have this program, it can be
downloaded, free of charge, from the Adobe web site at:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. The current version
is around a 23MB download.
Download the Skylight 2000 file by clicking the SkylightForPrint link. This will open the file using the Acrobat reader.
This will be the whole Skylight 2000 document, and comprise some 12 A4 sides.
Judiciously, you can print these as a double sided print to become a neat A5
booklet (3 printed double sided A4 sheets).
Set your printer for maximum margins, then print from the menu displaying
the Skylight 2000 as the PDF document. Carefully following your on screen print instructions,
select "Booklet Printing" from the page scaling list box, select "Both sides"
from the Booklet subset, and ensure the "Auto-Rotate Pages" checkbox is checked.
As you print,
turn (generally top to bottom, and over as one set of sides is finished) carefully as instructed
when your print pauses for the paper turn (unless
you're lucky to have a double sided printer!). Your biggest problem might be
finding a stapler to reach the centre of the pages for binding afterwards!!
Good luck and good reading! Your Webmaster
