Lottery Project Update

 

As you are probably aware, the club was successful in receiving a Lottery Grant from the Awards for All scheme, to promote Photography and Dorset within the community.

As you read this, the Photographic Competition, Images of Dorset, should be well under way.

The winning images from the competition will be shown at the Exhibition/Prize Giving ceremony on 27th June. Afterwards, our Digital projector and laptop, purchased with the lottery funding, will be used to give presentations of these images at local residential homes, eg care homes and sheltered accommodation. More details can be found on our web site.

If you know of a residential home that might be interested in seeing the presentation or if you are interested in going along to help, please let me know. All of us at the club are benefiting from the grant, so it would be great to see more members involved in this project.
