Lottery Project

The closing date for our Images of Dorset competition, part of our Lottery project, has passed and the selection and judging is underway. Entries will be exhibited using our Digital equipment and prizes will be awarded at the ceremony on Saturday 27th June. We are fortunate to have the Deputy Mayor and the Poole Town Crier to attend the ceremony and to announce the winners and hand out the prizes.

We hope that you will be coming along to support the event. As it is in our normal premises, we don’t want the Mayor and Town Crier turning up with just the winners in the audience! Don’t forget the competition and lottery project were instigated so the club will benefit, as well as the community. You will all reap the benefits with the introduction of the Digital Imaging competitions next year and more practical tuition evenings, using the club equipment, funded by the Lottery.

Please come along and show your support to the club and the event. A lot of hard work has gone into organising all of this and we want it to be a success.
