Skylight 2000 publicationIt is aimed to publish editions of Skylight
2000 at various times throughout
the season when there will be a drive to collect material copy of articles from
members. Articles are gratefully accepted at any time, and if a member has some
words to get off their chest in the form of an interesting “blog”, or in any other form,
particularly with photographs and illustrations, then the
Skylight 2000 editor will be happy to accept them at any time for inclusion in the next issue.
Article preparation and presentation
Where requested, article material submitted for publication can be edited and
checked for correctness. Normally the presented articles will be accepted as
supplied, and unless a specific error is noted, texts will be pasted into the
published HTML media without change. Where applicable, formatting will be
retained as much as possible, but text flows etc. particularly around images and
illustrations cannot be guaranteed. Images provided to include in the texts
would
usually enhance the appearance, presentation and understanding of an article
considerably. Supply of contextual images to include as small insets with
captions is encouraged, as is a small thumbnail image of the author.
Material rightsMaterial provided to Skylight 2000 will become proprietary to
Parkstone Camera Club, and contributors cannot request removal at any
time in the future, even though the member may leave the club. All material is to be considered
as paper copy, and may remain in existence indefinitely. Skylight 2000 publications are
to be considered completed entities, and individual items or articles will not be removed for any reason
Material copyrightA word on copyright: All works reproduced here are copyright of the authors, and it
is not permitted to copy or use material without the author's permission. However,
infringement is difficult to enforce, and authors must be aware that plagiarism of
website items is rife. True copyright protection of photographic quality,
however, is assured by virtue of the very low resolution of the web published images
in relation to the photographic originals.
